The Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of India, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, hosted a commemorative event, marking modern Armed Forces Day of Mongolia

The Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of India, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, hosted a commemorative event, marking modern Armed Forces Day of Mongolia on March 16, 2026, in New Delhi.

The event was opened with remarks by H.E. Mr. D. Ganbold, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of India, and Lieutenant General M.P. Singh, Director General of the Army Staff of India. The event was attended by officials from the Ministry of Defence of India, officers from the Army Headquarters and the Air Force, as well as Military Attachés from Argentina, Armenia, Chile, People’s Republic of China, France, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, ROK, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Mexico, Myanmar, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, USA, UK and Vietnam.

On the occasion, activities to promote Mongolia, Mongolian ger and nomadic lifestyle were also presented. Mongolian students extended their greetings through cultural performances.
