The Parliamentary delegation of Mongolia paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Bhutan

The Parliamentary delegation of Mongolia, led by Ms. Tsenguun Saruulsaikhan, Chairwoman of the Mongolia - Bhutan Parliamentary Group of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Bhutan on March 1 - 6, 2026.

During the visit, the delegation paid courtesy calls on Hon’ble Lungten Dorji, Speaker of the National Assembly of Bhutan, and H.E. Dasho Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of Bhutan.

The delegation also held meetings with Hon’ble Dasho Pema Tshewang, Leader of the Opposition; the Chairperson and members of the Bhutan - Mongolia Friendship Group of the National Assembly of Bhutan; and Hon’ble Lyonpo Yonten Phuntsho, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock.

During the visit, a Royal Audience was granted to H.E. Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Mongolia to Bhutan, and the members of the delegation.

The delegation also visited the Institute of Traditional Medicine and the Centre for Bhutan and Gross National Happiness Studies.
