He had the honour of an audience with His Majesty the King.

Additionally, the Ambassador conducted meetings with key Bhutanese leaders, including H.E. Dasho Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister, H.E. Tshogpon Lungten Dorji, Speaker of the National Assembly, H.E. Lyonpo D. N. Dhungyel, Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade, and H.E. Lyonpo Younten Phuntsho, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, focusing on broad aspects of bilateral relations.

Further engagements included working lunches hosted by Amb. Pema Choden, Foreign Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, and working dinner, hosted by Ms. Ugen Chozom, Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, where discussions were held on pertinent issues. The Ambassador also had productive exchanges with Mr. Pemba Wangchuk, Secretary, Ministry of Health, regarding health collaboration. Moreover, the Ambassador met with four doctors, who had studied in Mongolia, exchanging valuable insights on enhancing the training of traditional medicine for the Bhutanese doctors in Mongolia.
